Kaiser Permanente's Doctors of Optometry (ODs) provide comprehensive eye exams and prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses. They evaluate and treat many eye problems including infections, minor trauma, inflammations, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

Kaiser Permanente's Ophthalmologists (MDs) treat patients with advanced eye disease and surgical eye problems, such as cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, eye muscle problems, advanced glaucoma, and other serious eye disorders.
